The Forestry Camp 2019 themed “Combating Climate Change through Young Foresters” runs from June 30 to July 13, 2019 at the Ayer Hitam Forest Reserve, Puchong. A program organized by the Faculty of Forestry, UPM will expose new students to the principles and skills of forestry and develop students' soft skills.

About 160 students from the Faculty of Forestry and students from the various university in Indonesia are involved in the Forestry Camp 2019 which emphasizes learning modules such as the importance of ecosystems and forests, exposures on the production of high quality green products and the role of communities in ensuring the well-being of people.
